Body Staining: 1–5% addition to clay (ball mill to ≤10μm for uniform dispersion).
Special Effects: Blend with cobalt blue (CoAl₂O₄) for turquoise-green tones.
Firing Conditions:
Optimal: Oxidation atmosphere (air) at 1200–1280°C with 30–60 min hold.
Avoid strong reduction (Sb⁵⁺ → Sb³⁺ causes graying).
Compatibility Notes:
Not recommended for high-lime glazes (CaO >15%) to avoid CaCrO₄ formation.
Compatible with zirconia-opacified glazes.
Note: This product is designed for industrial and artistic ceramics. Test small batches to optimize performance in your specific formulations.
